What kind of Insulin do you use?

When I was in nursing school, it seemed like everyone used N and R mixed with R for coverage as needed.

Since then, so many developments in insulin have come around (Lantus, 70/30, Humalog)

I am seeing almost everyone taking Lantus with R coverage.

What do you take for your diabetes?

While I was on insulin I took Humalog. I am now on Byetta. It is not insulin but it works similar to insulin and it aids in weight loss.
