So do any of you have pets that encourage you and help you along on the hard days.

I have four spoiled rotten cats. When I'm not feeling well or having a bad day, they snuggle up with me on the bed. I love cats, so I can't help but feel better when I have the whoe pride purring around me for comfort. I think they think I'm a littermate.

I think fur therapy is a great idea for anyone! Whether they are sick or healthy as a horse! Also, my pets can sense when I am down or sick and "take extra care" of me. They snuggle closer and give more kisses.

What more could a pet parent ask for?

Pets are wonderful.... To bad people don't have the never failing love that animals have.

Pet's are wonderful little creatures to help with everything. It never fails when I am down and my cat jumps up to lay near me and purrs it changes my moods sometimes or just petting her relaxes me.

I don't know if it's considered fur therapy but my animals always have a way of making me feel better and often take my mind off of whatever problems I may be having at the time, especially my horses. When I focus my time on grooming and caring for them I am moving around which always makes me feel better.

Animals are fantastic... They just have that way about them that makes you feel better.
