Important to see the Eye Doctor

Its so important when you are a diabetic to see the eye doctor. You can have changes and sight loss from diabetic changes. The eye doctor can spot these changes early and help take care of them before they spiral out of control.

This is so true littlecat. My eye doc told me I need to have an annual exam because much of the damage that occurs in diabetics (unless severly out of control) can be repaired by laser surgery. I don't know about you but my eyesight is VERY important to me.

Calypso, it is very important to have an annual eye exam. My doc says that the reason blindness is so commonly linked with diabetes is because people fail to do this and then one day when they wake up and can't see...it's too late. Do it today!

Really it is very important to see the eyes since the diabetes can cause side effects to other parts of body.

Do not focus only at eyes.
