The CDC says that you can (possibly) prevent Type 2 diabetes by losing a small amount of weight (5-7%) and exercising 30 minutes 5 times per week along with healthier eating.
It doesn't sound like such a huge sacrifice -- so how come I can't do it??

I wish I could do it too.. I do yoga and pilates and I am constantly looking for other ways to keep me "interested" in keeping at it.
Yoga so far seems to be the best way for me to keep at it. Now to step it up a bit and start losing some weight.

Maybe it comes easier to me because I am past prevention. Once I was diagnosed I did some research to find out exactly what complications diabetes could cause. It was then that I decided that I wanted to live a quality life rather than just that instant gratification I had lived for up to that point.
