I have taken the risk assessment for diabetes. I scored 11+. My grandmother had diabetes and my mom was diagnosed around 7 months ago (the ER picked up on it and said it never surfaced earlier due to other health problems being more persistant). I constantly have blurred vision, thirsty as all can be and constantly running to the bathroom and just feeling totally run down to the point I sometimes come close to passing out, and I have noticed in the past couple of months that if I get a cut it takes forever to heal. I have been to the doctor to get sugar levels checked and seemingly they are normal when I get there.. Well, I know something isnt right. I now have a new doctor and was wondering how I can bring this to his attention. My only problem is hes also my mothers doctor and when she goes in the office he only asks her how her sugar is. They dont check her levels, he just takes her word for it. I almost feel as if I will not be taken seriously. Any suggestions on what I should do?

If you really think this doctor is not taking you seriously you should find another doctor. It is always best to get a second opinion.

Yes that is true. You have to change the doctor as soon as possible. Because you know we cant take any type of risks in our life.
